FIFA 22 will hit the shelves of physical and digital stores this October, and the football game will be released on many platforms when the time finally comes. Will previous generations like the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One have any extra time with this series? Read on to find out.
It’s definitely not a red card
FIFA 22 will be released on PS4 and Xbox One along with its PS5 counterparts, the Xbox Series X | S, PC and Google Stadium. However, you should know that it will not include the latest generation of HyperMotion technology, which uses machine learning to “deliver the most realistic, sensitive and sensitive football experience,” says EA.
With PS5 versions, Xbox Series X | S, PC and Stadia developer has integrated motion sensing for 22 different professional football players who play with high intensity. This will further improve the players’ movements on the field.
If you’ve ever gotten a PS5, you should know that you can upgrade FIFA 22 for free with your version of PS4 through the Dual Entitlement program. The same goes for Xbox editions. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to play with other players on the PS5 if you have a PS4 and vice versa.
After the game is released, you will gain access to more than 17,000 players, 700 teams and more than 30 leagues. More than 90 stadiums are also represented. The following competitions can also be played on the PS4 and Xbox One, including:
- UEFA Champions League
- UEFA Europa League
- UEFA European Conference League
- Premier League
- LaLiga Santander
- CONMEBOL Liberators
- CONMEBOL Sudamericana
