Prior to the presentation of Ubisoft Forward on June 12, Ubisoft released two new trailers for Rainbow Six Extraction. Originally announced on E3 2019 under the name Rainbow Six Quarantine, this game takes place in the world of the popular tactical shooter Ubisoft Rainbow Six Siege. The main difference between the two titles is that Rainbow Six Extraction is a fully cooperative PvE shooter in the spirit GTFO or the upcoming Aliens: Fireteam.
Playing Six Rainbow Extraction is based on Outbreak campaign under siegeand players will have to work together to fight a monstrous common enemy. We know that Extraction is more than a simple zombie survival game, because it will include well-established tactical gameplay and goal-based mechanics.
Rainbow Six Extraction Platform
In the original announcement from 2019 of what will eventually become Rainbow Six Extraction, Ubisoft said the game will be available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Interestingly, Extraction is available on the Wish List at Epic Games because it was originally unveiled but never added to Steam, despite The Rainbow Six franchise is one of Steam’s biggest hits.
As for the current gene consoles, Ubisoft has not yet officially announced that Rainbow Six Extraction will arrive on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S and X.
