It looks like The Division’s world is set to grow a little soon. The Ubisoft team will release a free game called The Division: Heartland. It’s an intergenerational game that comes on the Xbox One and Series X, the PlayStation 4 and 5, and the PC.
We don’t have too much information about the game or what the main focus will be. With a name like Heartland and a short demonstration of a water tower surrounded by trees with a small town in the distance, we imagine it will take place somewhere in the United States in the Midwest.
So far, the only information we have about The Division: Heartland can be expected to be released sometime closer to the end of 2021 or in the first months of 2022. This is a general timeline that the Ubisoft team gave in their blog when they made the announcement. There’s not much going on, but it gives us a better idea of when it might get into our hands. If you would like to be one of the first people to try it, you can sign up participate in early testing phase. You can choose which console you want to try on.
We are still in the early stages of learning about The Division: Heartland. We will update this guide as we learn more about the exact release date.
