Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is one of the largest video game releases in 2021 and continues the history of quality titles in the long-running series. If you are on a 3D action platformer, you will have a blast that will play as you defeat enemies and collect items. With what has been said, sometimes you can go for the challenge. Here’s everything you need to know about Challenge Mode in Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart.
Challenge Mode is basically a version of Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart version of the new Game Plus mode. It unlocks when the main story is completed and the following image pops up. If you select Return to Zurkie’s, you will not activate it. Instead, you will return just before the final level begins and you can continue collecting and completing side objectives. However, if you go to the title screen, you can create a new file to save in prompt mode by pressing a square on the file that completed the story.
You will notice a few changes when playing in Challenge mode. While leaving all your collectibles, screws and weapons unlocked, you start the story from the beginning. You will notice that you get a screw multiplier for the defeated enemies without having to intervene, so in this mode you can get rich much faster if you are skilled enough. In addition, all weapons now have an Omega variant that can now be upgraded to level ten instead of the limited five levels in your first game.
