Assuming you are also one of them, you need to use the clever tricks described below and solve this problem for good.

What can I do if I cannot start Steam games?

1. Update the drivers and DirectX

It will not hurt anyone if you go to Device Manager, right-click on the graphics card under Display Adapter and see if there are any driver updates.

The same applies to DirectX, as you can check if the latest version is installed. However, updating drivers manually can be a lengthy process, especially if you are a beginner.
