Captain Jack Sparrow is lost in the Sea of the Damned as he tries to retrieve the precious treasure necessary to save the Sea of Thieves from Davy Jones. The story of the sunken pearl in the Sea of Thieves: A Pirate’s Life takes you through a dangerous underwater environment in search of the Black Pearl, a famous pirate ship that may be your only hope on this long journey.
The first step will be to vote for The Sunken Pearl Tall Tale at Castaway’s Camp – Castaway summarizes the story and tells you that you will find the pearl. There is a book in your to-do inventory, and pages 6 and 7 will include a map of where you need to go. You will sail to the far southwest corner of the map, directly southwest of Discovery Ridge and west of Old Salts Atoll – watch out for the blue light shining into the sky. Since you are probably starting from a random base, your travel time may vary and keep in mind that you may meet other players along the way.
An exciting musical cue will signal your proximity to the place and you will see a pile of floating debris covered with coral. Supply your ship and prepare for the dive. Jump into the water and swim in the trail of debris. Don’t be afraid of running out of air, even if you swim deeper – the corals will release air bubbles that you can breathe. Continue on your way and listen to the beautiful vocals that accompany you, the ruins of the Black Pearl.
The ship of freedom
Swim to the front of the upper deck and you will find an opening leading to the lower deck. Go through and go through the challenges to move the wreckage along the way. In the back of the ship you will see a sleeping Ocean Crawler holding the key to the captain’s cabin – pull the key out of his clutches and sail the way you entered. On the upper deck, swim to the stern of the ship and open the door to the captain’s cabin. Inside, you’ll find Jack’s compass on the table. If you remember Pirates of the Caribbean movies, this compass shows the desire of your heart.
Follow the direction of the compass – if the compass behaves quite irregularly, you may not swim low enough and have to go deeper until you find a cave covered with coral.
A special awakening
As you swim through the cave and find air, you will see a statue of a mermaid on the left and a glowing round sphere on the right that acts as a switch. The mermaid statue allows you to return to your ship or return to previous checkpoints. Hit the ball of weapons to advance through the barrier and swim through another cave.
In front of us are jigsaw puzzle pieces of Siren, where you have to raise the water level in order to proceed – we have encountered defects or opportunities with the interference of an external player, where the water has already risen. But the basic principle here is that you have to manipulate three smaller siren statues by hitting them with weapons to match the works of art on the wall. These sculptures hold a trident in one hand and another distinctive object in the other hand – each holding its trident in either a low, medium or high position, so hit all these statues to match the work of art. Then hit the larger statue of the Siren standing in the middle and the statues will sing and raise the water level.
