Deep Silver and 4A Games have confirmed the release date of the Metro Exodus upgrade to PS5 and Xbox Series X / S.
Come June 18, free next generation Metro Exodus an upgrade will be available for the Xbox Series X / S and PlayStation 5.
With name Complete edition of Metro Exodus, will run on a 4K / 60FPS with a fully lit beam on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
The base game and DLC expansion will include Ray Traced Global Illumination (RTGI) and Ray Traced Emissive Lighting techniques, as was the case with the original release of Metro Exodus and The Two Colonels with full content extensions.
The next-generation version of the game will benefit from dramatically reduced loading times, 4K texture packs, and a range of platform-specific features, including Xbox surround sound and latency enhancements and support for the haptic features of the PlayStation 5 DualSense controller.
These enhancements will be available as a free upgrade for all PS4 and Xbox One and One X Metro Exodus owners, or will be available to new players with Metro Exodus Complete Edition, the physical edition for franchise novices.
This Complete Edition includes the base game and both DLC extensions: The Two Colonels and Sam’s Story.
An improved edition of the game arrived on the PC today.
