Maguu Kenki is the new boss you will find on the central island of Genshin Impact. This automated fighting machine can be a tough fight, but it’s definitely worth taking part in the Midsummer Island Adventure. Players will gain access to Magu Kenki until the 3rd act of the event and only then will they be able to fight it.
After defeating Maguu Kenki, players can earn their rewards from Trounce Blossom using 40 original resins.
Attacks and strategies
Maguu Kenki has a number of attacks that he can perform in various ways. Masked attacks are particularly powerful and must be avoided at all costs. Maguu Kenki can perform three different types of mask attacks. One is defensive, stops all incoming ranged attacks, the other sends the mask directly in front of its position, damaging anything in its path, and the last is an exploding mask.
Maguu Kenki has two different Dash attacks. One leaves a trail that will mirror Maguu Kenki’s next attack, while the other ends in a swirling elemental attack.
The device can also perform a number of effect attacks, such as a double slash, a straw attack, and a wide range of Cryo attacks. Most of these attacks are preceded by an Anemo vortex, which tries to suck the player into range.
To avoid most attacks, range is useful, so players should keep in mind that when they try to complete the challenges of the event. For most players, it’s best to bet on a greedy DPS on the field with lots of synergies, hit all the Elemental Bursts, and then mow Maguu Kenki as quickly as possible. Even if the device hits hard, it is not a very apparent fight with the boss.
