So it seems that the long wait is finally over and the Inazuma region may be on its way to Genshin Impact with another update, scheduled for July 21. To keep everyone fully invested, we also receive a live stream of revelations of upcoming content.
miYoHo will host another special program where everything we can expect in the next update will take place. It will take place on July 9 at 8:00 ET Twitch, and will also be available at Youtube at 12:00 ET.
Inazuma will be the third region of Genshin Impact and will be inspired by Japanese culture and architecture. While the miYoHo developer didn’t announce that he was showcasing Inazuma, a stream announcement tweet introduced an image of the Electro Statue of the Seven. Since the Statues of Seven in the game are associated with the regions, with Mondstadt being Anemo and Liyue Geo, it certainly seems that a new region is to be discovered.
According to rumors and leaks, the new region will actually be released in parts, as it is a chain of islands that can be easily divided into different updates. The Chinese stream will also be hosted by Liu Wei, the founder of miYoHo, and this usually doesn’t happen until big announcements are made for the game.
