Vault of Glass does what the good structure of Vex does, progresses over time from the original Destiny and sets up a store in Destiny 2. It arrives on May 22 and will be open for business at 10:00 Pacific Time. Vault of Glass cannot be run “organically” in the same way as in the original Destiny.
While previously it was only possible to travel to the front door of the Raid and even pick up potential Raid members along the way, Venus is no longer in the game. In Destiny 2, you can run Vault of Glass from the menus instead. Instead, a new node appears in the Director after the Raid is started.
The Legends node appears between the Gambit node and the Moon node on the Director’s Destination screen. Players will be able to click on it, then select Vault of Glass and start a raid. The Legends node becomes a place for older content that is reintroduced into the game without the physical space it used.
Once loaded into the raid, players find themselves in front of the familiar giant door and the strange Vex structures await construction. It is a good idea to divide into three groups of two, with all three groups hindering a different site of the construct. Waves of enemies will appear and they will need to be kept in check in order to complete the construction of the Vex towers, open the door and allow access to their own raid.
