Destiny 2’s Solstice of Heroes is now live and lasts until September 8th. This event, a celebration of the heroic actions of all the Guardians in Destiny 2, includes the European Air Zone, where you will try to kill as many as you can and produce Elemental Balls for various challenges and rewards.
Prompts will prompt you to deploy Arc, Solar, or Void balls to upgrade specific pieces of armor. Some of you will be asked to place a specific element of the balls on specific targets. So how do you place the balls and what do they do?
Simply put, only a few assumptions are needed to reproduce Elemental Spheres. Change your subclass to any element you want to create. Next, switch the Energy and Power weapons to the same element. Now it’s good to go. Killing with a corresponding element of a subclass will cause the balls of that element to form.
Once you have the armor equipped, equipped with the correct subclass and the corresponding weapons, just kill the enemies and they will drop the balls. Minibos, as well as enemies with orange or yellow health stripes, have a much better chance of dropping a few balls. In EAZ you will also find strange glowing crystals and by destroying them, several Elemental spheres will fall to the ground, which correspond to the color of the crystal.
It should be noted that you can create Elemental Spheres that do not match the element of the day, using other subclasses or types of weapons. This is important to keep in mind because some rewards will ask you to create another Elemental Orb type, and you don’t have to wait for the elemental type to turn EAZ.
