After a healthy scene between you and Chicory, it will take you the next step in your search to find out what is causing corruption to disrupt the world. Head to Gulf Swamp, south of the Luncheon. The trick to navigating Gulf Swamp is to use the vines – when painted, you can swim through them and get to different islands. Here you will want to take advantage of the different colors that the game offers. If you color one end of the vine, it will spread to the rest of the vine. Then the path to the tree should be clear if you color-code the vine.
Inside the tree itself, the only difficult obstacle is finding a door pattern with 3 × 3 dots. To find this pattern, go through the narrow path on the left and the vineyard on the right and move to the next screen on the right. Use color to lighten the cave, but keep in mind that there are beetles that eat the light. There are nine small platforms in the 3 × 3 grid – you may see where it is headed.
