At specific points in Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, you will encounter dimensional anomalies that affect the game much differently than other aspects of the multiverse collapse. These shifts in size cannot occur with either Ratchet or Rivet, only Clank has access to the area and has an interview with Gary. During this time, you must clear the anomaly of a set of physical puzzles. Here’s how to complete the second dimension anomaly found on Blizar Prime.
The first puzzle
When you enter the dimensional anomaly on Blizar Prime, you will notice that Clank’s Possencies is running forward and pushing the fan on another path that is destroying them. Destroy the boxes for some screws here and then go to the left, where there is a big stack of boxes. Knock these boxes down and grab a new light blue ball called a heavy ball.
Turn around and throw a heavy ball at a nearby platform to launch it. Now you can catch another ball on top of this platform. Grab the ball and throw it into the saw blade in front of you to launch it and destroy the objects blocking your path.
Now all you have to do is remove the ball from the saw blade and throw it on the running track in front of the fan near the beginning of this puzzle. While looking at the beginning of the course, use the turning path to the left to find the switch that adjusts the running path to the end of the course ending with the first puzzle.
The second puzzle
When you first get to the second puzzle, destroy all the boxes you see. Jump on the platform on the right, which rises and falls, and grab the Lift Sphere at the top. With this in hand, turn around and throw it into the floor panel to the left of the start of the running track. Use this ball to float and grab a heavy ball.
After you catch the heavy ball, load the lifting ball and return to the platform where you originally got it. Throw the Lifting Ball to the platform on the right, which breaks to lift it, and the Heavy Ball to the left, which is still rising to lower it. Jump on the left platform and catch the Speed Sphere.
Load all the balls and return to the running path. Before the tips, first insert the Speed Shere with the Lift Sphere into the slot at the end. Finally, throw a heavy ball into the saw blade to reduce it, allowing you to fly through all the dangers and complete the puzzle.
The third puzzle
The third and last puzzle has many more fans this time. Remember that any direction they move the Options will be their new path (unless they are affected by a heavy ball). Be careful not to walk through the wind yourself. You can skip it and go through it, but it can still push you to death.
First, walk through the wind and catch a heavy ball in the middle. Then continue on your way until you come across saw blades. Throw the heavy ball inside and get the lifting ball. Double jump over the shoulder blades to get a heavy ball.
Turn away from the saw blades and you will notice a platform crashing into the ground. Use Lift Sphere to lift it and get Speed Sphere. Get the Lift Sphere back.
Now, as a last step, turn back to the beginning of the running path. Throw the lifting ball into the first slot and raise your options above the fan that pushes them off the track. He runs into one fan.
Place the Speed Sphere in the next slot to accelerate the pace toward the next fan.
Finally, place a heavy ball in the slot in front of the last fan to let your options pass, but still have enough speed to destroy the structures that stand in your way.
