It’s also great when 3D platforms contain some means of fast travel. As the worlds continue to grow and the number of collectibles continues to grow, you want to spend as little time as possible running through areas you’ve already explored. With that in mind, let’s take a look at how fast you can travel in Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart.
While Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart does not have a traditional fast travel system where you open a map and select a point to teleport to, it has a different way to get from one point to another quickly. To warp, you must go through the story or explore the planet you are on until you reach the point where the warp point is unlocked. Then you have to stand on it and press Triangle to untwist you. The destination is always displayed as you approach the base, but unfortunately there is no way to change it to a specific point on the map.
Fortunately, when the game runs so well next to the PlayStation 5 SSD, loading times are minimal, and if you need to get to a point that is decently distant from any warp point, you can always use Hover shoes with R1 and use them by tapping on L2.
