You may notice a large influx of Twitter responses, YouTube comments, Twitch chat messages, and other online instances where people are trying to hack Splitgate referral codes to random strangers. The free Halo and Portal hybrid shooter with a hybrid system has a referral system that offers players a variety of rewards for the referrer and their friend. The offer for Splitgate can be a bit confusing at first glance, but the process is quite quick and easy.
The Splitgate Referral Program is located in the Rewards Center – this is not a Claim Rewards offer, where you will pick up your daily and weapon challenges, but rather the pink Rewards Center that you see in the lower left corner of the screen. You can click on this tile on the PC, or click on the left lever using the controller on the PlayStation or Xbox to open the menu.
Fortunately, referring a friend is the first option at the Rewards Center. In the Who recommended you field, can you enter someone else’s recommendation code? field and below it you can note your own alphanumeric recommendation code. Keep that in mind if you’re at XP level 10 or higher, you can’t enter someone else’s referral code.
Rewards for the recommended Splitgate card
Each referral you charge will increase your referral score, and you and everyone who entered your code, 50 splitcoins each / your referral score, will contribute to your referral. The rewards for referrals for the beta version of the game are as follows:
- Ritual (legendary plasma rifle)
- Recruiter (Epic Name Tag)
- Racer (epic pistol skin)
- Epic banner
- Wildfire (legendary SMG skin)
