The UNC: Rogue VI side quest, which you receive in the Mass Effect Legendary Edition, will be given to you as you travel through the galaxy. It is given to you by Admiral Hackett, a character you can expect to see her quite often in Mass Effect 3. You will be offered the task of choosing a new system to travel to Normandy, and your character will reach level 20. When you complete this mission and unlock your specialization class for Shepard.
Tail would be a great squadmate to take you on this mission.
Where to go to find Rogue VI
Rogue VI will be on Earth’s Moon, so you will need to travel to the Sol system in the Local Cluster. You can find this location in the south of the map of the galaxy. The Earth’s moon will be listed as Luna.
How to turn off the Rogue VI pipeline
Rogue VI took over the Alliance Training Facility. When you call up your top map, it will be southwest of your current location.
Upon arrival, there will be two towers on each of the buildings around the facility. You want to make sure you stay in your poppy so you can remove them before continuing with the device. You must visit a total of three buildings, so you will need to clean each one and destroy the VI pipeline at the back. These pipes are protected by a small group of drones.
The first bunker will contain several attack drones, one of which fires at you with standard shots. You can remove them using Overload, fry their shields and complete them with a few shots from your favorite weapon. Depending on the difficulty you play, the second bunker contains rocket drones, which are much harder to fight because their missiles can eliminate your shields and sometimes a single shot. You will want to stay in hiding for these things. The last bunker will be a mixture of missile and attack drones. We recommend eliminating rocket drones in front of others.
Tail is an excellent member of the party during this serving, as he can use his hacking skills to control the drone and get them to fight together, and will provide you and your team with some help during the battle.
At the end of each bunker is a row of VI pipes in the two rear rooms. There are four in each of them. After destroying the first one, poison gas is poured into the room, which will slowly engulf your health. The second pipes in front of them create shields that you can break quickly. The third bunker summons a new series of drones that you have to fight in the next room.
After destroying the last VI channel, the message will be played in binary code and your specialization will be unlocked. You will be able to choose from two classes, depending on your default class.
