Pokémon Go celebrates its fifth anniversary in 2021. From July 6 to 15, players will experience an increase in the number of starting Pokémon that appeared in the original Pokémon games. You can meet many of them in the wild, or you can increase your chances of finding them on any Bait Bait, which means you will want to use any bait you have in your inventory. These lures will last longer and remain viable for an hour. In addition to the fifth anniversary event, there will be a Collection Challenge. The Fifth Anniversary Collection Challenge rewards players of several Pokéballs, rare candies and Flying Pikachu exclusive to 5 balloon events for completing it.
The call for the fifth annual collection will require you to capture all Pokémon during the event. You cannot use any Pokémon caught before the pickup challenge start point.

- Flying Pikachu
Most of these launching Pokémon will appear in the wild and will have an increased reproduction rate. However, some of them will appear exclusively through the Pokéstops that received the bait, so you will need to find a Pokéstop that has an active bait, or you will need to visit one that you have personally activated using any of your bait modules.
