Mauer Der Toten, another zombie map for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, as well as a number of new ones Warzone content comes into play on July 15th.
Call of Duty fans, in the coming weeks Warzone and Black Ops Cold War have something to look forward to. The classic multiplayer map and new modes are coming to the Cold War Black Ops, while Warzone is gaining its own new objective mode with Payload – as well as other meta-changing updates.
For this update, the download size will be approximately 11.4 GB to 21.3 GB for those who own the full version of the Cold War Black Ops, and 8.9 GB to 10.4 GB for those who own a free Warzone game and have up-to-date information on the latest updates to one or both games.
As detailed on Blog Call of Duty, nearby operators will have two new armaments in their arsenal as soon as Season 4 Reloaded drops during the week:
- The OT 9 SMG arrives on the day of the start of Reloaded Season 4. This is an automatic-propelled submachine gun with impressive short-range firepower and good visibility when firing. You have reliable recoil control with a smaller magazine size. You can either unlock it through a game challenge or have one of his weapon plans purchased through the Inside Job Store package.
- The scepter is a melee weapon designed to sink into skulls. Charming. “Get Mace later this season either by challenging the game or by getting one of his weapon plans through the Mystic’s Scepter Store package,” says Activision.
There is also a new operator. Weaver (who belongs to the NATO faction) was raised in America after his mother fled the USSR with him. Grigori Weaver, now part of the CIA’s secret service, “surrounds both sides of the Cold War divisions” and lost sight of this during a secret mission to steal space secrets.
“In this package, his Kremlin’s Eye skin is based on his original incarnation of Black Ops, except for three Legendary Weapon Blueprints and a new Finishing Move, where he tricks the undead into snatching an enemy’s limb!”
As for Warzone, the developers are introducing the first ever game mode based on Warzone lenses with this update: Payload.
“Inspired by previous traditional Call of Duty game modes, such as Call of Duty: World War II War Mode, Payload pits two teams of 20 players against each other in a race against time for crucial information, as these vehicles carry satellite parts that could to help shift the balance of the war between Perseus and NATO, “the blog said.
If the attacking team accompanies all vehicles at all checkpoints within the time limit, it will win the match. The defending team can build obstacles to slow the progress and pick up enemy fighters to help stop the pressure.
Warzone is also likely to turn into “Blueprint Blitz”. “Like the weekends of Double XP, Raven Software plans to activate a new special global event, where Contraband Contracts will automatically appear after the completion of two regular contracts.” Contraband Contracts will give you a permanent Weapon Blueprint if you can get it from DZ, in addition to the tons of cash in the current match.
If you are following the Blueprints from previous seasons, then it will be a good time to get them.
There is also a lot of new information about incoming Zombies content for the game: you can read more about it on the blog page itself (link above) or on our dedicated page Mauer Der Toten.
