One of the features that many Borderlands players have demanded over the years is the ability to fully customize their characters. Because the Gearbox characters were so focused on being unique to each other, all three Borderlands games didn’t give fans a chance. Players were given various skins and cosmetics that they could exchange, but most of the time, all the characters look quite similar.
That’s why it’s so surprising when Gearbox announced that Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands will have customizable characters. We don’t know exactly what that will mean yet, but Ashley Burch must have mentioned it at the Summer Game Fest Kickoff Show. This should mean that customization will play a significant role in building your character.
So far, all we know is that it will be an opportunity. Burch also mentioned that there will be several character classes that you can specify when playing. It’s important to realize that you’ll actually be able to classify your character in more classes, giving you even more control over your character.
In the next few months, we should expect a better idea of what customization options will be available as Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands declines in early 2022. Hopefully, Gearbox will provide the options that fans want, especially since they are asking for more than ten years.
