Back 4 Blood is about meeting other people and fighting for life against hordes of Ridden who are trying to add similar zombies to their army. Sounds like a nice relaxing time, doesn’t it? Like Left 4 Dead, Back 4 Blood will rely entirely on teamwork between you and the other players in the game. That’s why it’s crucial to have someone you can trust on your back. That said, the person you trust the most is sometimes on a different platform. With this in mind, does Back 4 Blood support crossplay?
Yes, Back 4 Blood will support crosssplay between all platforms. When the game has its first open beta in August 2021, its crossplay feature will be tested. Turtle Rock Studios hopes it will be ready to go when it is fully released on October 12. While this gives the game a chance not to have crossplay when running, we’ll have to wait and see.
Crossplay support will be available across all platforms. As a result, PC, PlayStation and Xbox players will be able to group together to get to the Hidden Hordes. Cross-gen crossplay will also be available for players at launch, which means that PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners will not be left out of killer fun.
