Season Splicer in Destiny 2 brings a new Iron Banner quest called Adversarial Relations. By completing this task, players can, as always, gain some nice armor, weapons and loot. This can be done throughout the season and may not be completed at the first Iron Banner event.
This guide is written from datamined information, so we will make all the necessary updates and changes when the prompt is triggered after a weekly reset.
Step 1 – Use the Void
- Killing the ability of an arc / emptiness – 10
- Defeat the Guardian – 30
- Capture zones – 10
Quite basic, players just equip their preferred subclass Arc or Void and then get to work killing other Guardians and zones of interest.
Step 2 – Acting by force
- Hand Cannon Kills – 20
- Capture zones – 20
- Complete matches Iron Banner – 6
Hand Cannons, the eternal meta weapon, are plentiful in the game, so players should have no problem collecting these kills. If you are struggling, simply overshadow another player and you will get chip damage on his targets.
Step 3 – Adversarial relations
- Sniper Rifle Kills – 10
- Defeat the guard – 100
- Capture zones – 30
Killing a sniper rifle is fun, but there’s no need to camp behind them. Players will tend to recharge you while you care about capturing zones, and you should be able to pick them up easily with hard-hit sniper rifles.
Step 4 – Enemy takeover
- Capture zones – 40
- Melee Kills – 15
- Shotgun Kills – 10
Shotguns and melee killing go hand in hand in Destiny 2 PvP, so drop that Felwinter is there if you have to, and keep busy.
Step 5 – Diplomacy of gunboats
- Super kill – 15
- Match points – 25
- Machine Gun Kills – 3
Some players may have trouble getting a machine gun, depending on how they ate their drops in the last few days. Don’t forget if you can pull something out of your Exotics box for it, because you only need 3 kills.
