During Sony July Presentation of the current state, a new trailer for Death Stranding Director’s Cut has been unveiled. It was announced via the said trailer, which will be released on September 24 for the Director’s Cut for PlayStation 5. This remastered version will come with lots of new content such as weapons, equipment and vehicles, shooting range, Fragile Circuit and more exploration, advanced events, and user interface improvements. And all the content of Half-Life and Cyberpunk 2077 that was released for the PC will also be released for the PS5.
There are also plenty of exclusive PS5 features: haptic DualSense feedback, customized shutter resistance, 3D sound, near-instantaneous load times and two modes – Performance mode with upscale 4K and up to 60 FPS or Fidelity mode in native 4K, both of which support HDR and ultra wide. However, there is one question that remains unanswered: whether those who own the PlayStation 4 version can upgrade for free.
According to official PlayStation blogthose who have the original version of the PS4 Death Stranding Director’s Cut can purchase an upgrade to the PS5 Death Stranding Director’s Cut Digital Deluxe Edition for $ 10 (€ 10). And all saved data from the PS4 version is fully transferable to the PS5 version, which means players can jump from where they left off and access all brand new content once they unlock it.
