Galarian Slowpoke makes his mobile debut at Very Slow Discovery in Pokémon Go. From June 8 to 13, you can meet Galarian Slowpoke in several ways and add it to your collection. Once captured, you can turn him into a friend who will hunt a poisonous Pokémon to evolve Galarian Slowbro, a poisonous and psychic Pokémon capable of dealing pretty good damage against other trainers, especially if you learn the best Moveset. But don’t hope to capture a shiny version of this Pokémon. Galarian Slowpoke has two developed forms, the second is Galarain Slowking, but it is not available during the Very Slow Discovery event.
Niantic developers have confirmed that players cannot develop a galarian slowdown from Slowpoke in the galaxy for this event. The reason given here is that the Galarian slowdown takes time to appear, which means that we will see it in the future. Right now, we do not have a set date or a rough estimate of when this may happen. Let’s hope you don’t have to wait too long. The best scenario awaits sometime closer to the end of the discovery season. The season began on June 1 and is expected to end on September 1. We may have to wait for the upcoming August before Galarian Slowking appears, or Niantic can hold on even longer.
With Very Slow Discovery, players will have to settle for Galarian Slowbro as the only evolution option. However, Galarian Slowking is unlikely to stay out of range for too long, so coaches may try to capture two Galarian Slowpokes, one of which they will later retain for the release of Galarian Slowking.
