Season 4 z Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops Cold War starts next week and shares more information about what we can expect from the update before Activision begins.
Treyarch and Raven – developers working on Black Ops Cold War and Warzone – shared a roadmap highlighting what new multiplayer content, Zombies updates and Warzone changes are due to arrive in various Call of Duty projects with Season 4.
As always with these major updates, we will see Warzone get a fairly large update in the new update, with the change of many landmarks on the map and the introduction of some new items into the game.
At the start of the season, four “Ground Fall” will sprinkle the map of Verdansk with space debris. A time-limited event will get you to find and secure SAT-links to earn exclusive rewards for your global profile across Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. It is interesting to see that something like this covers both aspects of the game.
“At this event, you will address the goals of the new regimes, maps and weapons in the Black Ops Cold War and new points of interest in Warzone,” the press release said. “Achieving these goals will reward you with items such as emblems, business cards and magic on a satellite weapon, as well as some XP.”
If you complete each challenge, you will receive an Epic Secondary Weapon Blueprint that is “truly out of this world”. Alien blaster, anyone?
Both NATO and the Warsaw Pact add reinforcements to their front lines “before the middle of the season”. We receive:
• Jackal, a native of South Africa camouflaged with metal. (Start a level 0 reward with the ultra rarity operator skin of operator 100).
• Salah, a member of a squadron led by the CIA, which penetrated the Algerian satellite crash site. (Arrival in season).
• Weaver; CIA Secret Service Officer Grigori Weaver is on both sides of the Cold War divide. (Arrival in season).
Then a “known friend” joins the fight, although no details of who it will be have been shared yet.
During the season, you will have two new Battle Pass weapons and three unlockable weapons updates on the Call of Duty website:
• MG 82: LMG (Comes at the start, level 15 reward)
Fully automatic light machine gun. Highest rate of fire in its class with improved aiming speed. Slight recoil and damage with increased ammunition capacity.
• C58: Assault Rifle (Comes at start, level 31 reward)
Assault rifle with a full machine gun. Great damage at close range and lower rate of fire. Fast projectile velocity and reliable recoil control with less ammunition capacity.
• Nail Gun: Special / SMG (Comes to both BOCW / WZ at startup)
This highly mobile, slow-fired power tool uses compressed air to fire fast-moving projectiles that cause great damage at close range.
• SZ 9: SMG (Arrival in season)
OTs 9, which boasts excellent braking power and phenomenal rate of fire, is hindered only by its low magazine capacity of 20 rounds.
• Mace: Brawl (Arrival in season)
Get a medieval fight with your enemies with this seasonal melee weapon, giving you the number of Black Ops Cold War hand tools available at eight, including a ballistic knife.
The last three weapons can be obtained in season 4 in one of two ways: by fulfilling the game challenge to get the basic weapon for free, or by picking up a package with a unique version of Blueprint when it appears in the store.
“Several satellites made an emergency landing in Verdansk and you and your team had their wreckage examined,” the press release said.
Although the satellite emergency site will not appear on your Tac map, it will be clearly visible in Verdansk, as debris and impacts on the landscape are significant. “In addition to offering new opportunities for coverage, the satellites themselves can be provided,” apparently.
“Collaborate with satellite links found in the area to seek lasting rewards in Ground Fall at the start of the season.” Also get useful items that you can use during the match, such as powerful Killstreaks, vehicles and off-road improvements. “
Dirt Bike, the first brand new vehicle to get to DZ, arrives at the start. “Intensify your off-road frolic with this extremely manoeuvrable jammer, scattered throughout Verdansk and ready to use at the start of the match.”
In addition to becoming the new fastest vehicle in Warzone, the Dirt Bike will have several unique handling features such as wheel traction, slipping, drifting and tilting the vehicle, allowing you to make epic turns, avoid oncoming fire or drive stunts by controlling your orientation in the air.
The red door is also coming. But you will have to find out for yourself, because the press release is not very useful.
Our intelligence cannot explain the origin of this mysterious red door around Verdansk, but one thing is certain: They allow you to [[REDACTED]]around [[REDACTED]]. What’s behind them? Examine them and enter them [[REDACTED]]via [[REDACTED]].
There will be no red door [[REDACTED]]if you don’t experience pinging them and after walking through it, it’s nothing to say [[REDACTED]]leaving the other party krok and step into [[REDACTED]].
Black Ops Cold War
Four new maps are coming to the PvP part of the Black Ops Cold War: Collateral (12v12) and Collateral Strike (6v6), Amsterdam (2v2 and 3v3) and Hijacked, the beloved 6v6 map that first appeared in Black Ops II, are coming to launch. Rush (6v6) arrives later in the season.
There is also a new multiplayer mode and two favorite favorites: Multi-Team: Sat-Link and One in the Chamber arrive at the start, while Capture the Flag arrives in season.
Semi-automatic handgun placed in a ridiculously high caliber, the handgun also comes as a new shooter.
“Mauer der Toten” – Treyarch’s new experience with zombies, comes in the middle of the season. The press release says:
Fans of “Die Maschine”, “Firebase Z” and other classic experiences from the world of zombies will be welcomed at home in “Mauer der Toten”, the next chapter of the Black Ops Cold War Zombies game, which will come in the middle of the season.
