Finally, we have a name we can name Sharkmob’s mysterious project Vampire: The Masquerade battle royale, and that’s Bloodhunt. Bloodhunt, which was officially unveiled at the Summer Games Festival in 2021, is the Battle Royale from a third-person perspective, due out later this year.
Bloodhunt is set in a fictional version of Prague, apparently locked in the eternal night. Players will fight for supremacy across the shrouded streets of the city with parkour heavy movement, unique vampire abilities and an extensive arsenal of firearms. From the game trailer, Bloodhunt looks a bit like Hyper Scape, because it’s a fast-paced battle queen in an exclusively urban setting. Interestingly, Steam’s description of the game includes “character adaptation” and “looter shooter” tags, although this may be overlooked.
Players are invited to participate in the upcoming closed Bloodhunt alpha test. According to e-mails sent to potential participants, the playtest begins on July 2. To register for the playtest, register on the official website of the gameand make sure you are Watch the game on Steam for updates.
The official release date of Bloodhunt has not yet been announced, but the game is expected to be released on the PC later in 2021. There is not a word about a potential release of the console. Bloodhunt will play for free.
