Unlike most other battle king games that focus on shootouts and positioning, Naraka: Bladepoint is basically a fighting game that takes place in a shrinking arena. In Naraka, the emphasis is on making perfect combinations with one of the melee weapons in the game. Ranged weapons are usually used in a complementary way, such as starting a fight or completing fleeing enemies. While all weapons can be used effectively in this combat framework, some are much more flexible and can therefore be considered the best options in Naraka: Bladepoint.
The best weapons at close range
The spear is perhaps the most destructive melee weapon in Naraka: Bladepoint, due to the incredible damage it can potentially inflict on its loaded attack. This weapon has a long range, it is difficult to interrupt, and if a rotating attack is launched against the enemy you have just been able to knock down, it is almost a guaranteed kill. Pair the spear with a good long-range weapon, such as a musket, and you’re ready to go.
Longsword is the second best weapon in Naraka: Bladepoint. No particular aspect of this weapon stands out: it simply has a good damage output and a good set of moves. Longsword is flexible and secure and has no drawbacks or disadvantages.
The best ranged weapons
The musket is the most flexible and reliable firearm in Naraka: the Bladepoint. While it doesn’t hit as hard as a cannon or pistol, it also doesn’t have the mechanical limitations of these weapons. Fighting in Naraka: Bladepoint often involves many varying distances between players and, thanks to the excellent range of the musket, overcomes specialized weapons at a distance.
Although its use is more limited, the repeating crossbow is also an excellent choice. The reason is its constant rate of fire, which allows you to stop moving opponents by hailing the bolts. A repeating crossbow is great for ending damaged opponents, checking trees, or just putting some pressure on a player trying to reach a favorable position.
Players with a good goal should consider using a musket bow. This long-range alternative rewards accuracy. Although less flexible than the musket, the Longbow has the potential to be strong in Naraka: Bladepoint if used well.
Katana and Greatsword are powerful melee weapons in Naraka: Bladepoint, which we cannot list above simply due to their mechanical limitations. Katana does not knock down players with her charged attack, and Greatsword has a predictable combo with two hits that will allow you to bounce your opponent or get away. This means that both weapons can be devastating if you invest the time to learn how to use your strengths and play with them.
