The hardworking beans in Among Us are still on, the Innersloth developer has prepared a whole content plan for the game. Although the roadmap itself is still relatively loose in terms of the date and order in which these features arrive, the content itself seems quite substantial. Innersloth has talked about new colors and improvements to the account system before, but you need to be aware of some interesting shakeups for the actual game.
New colors and cosmetics
Among us, the update will support 15 players and six new colors will be available to increase the number of players.
And while players can already wear hats among us, the game will add visor cosmetics that players can wear with hats. Some lenses included sunglasses, eye tape and a mustache. Some cosmetics that were previously in the hat hole, such as the surgical mask and the “DUM” adhesive note, appear to use visors instead.
New roles and game modes
The players between us enjoyed changing the match settings to create their own hide and seek mode; with a future update, the Hide ‘n’ Seek native mode will actually be a native part of the game. From his appearance, the imposter will have an even more limited field of view, while one by one he will try to find the Crewmates.
In addition, Among Us will add new roles to the game – roles other than Crewmate and Imposter. It’s analogous to other similar games, such as Werewolf or Avalon, with new roles in Among Us, including Sheriff and Scientist. How these roles will work is not yet known.
Map 5 between us
Cheerfully, the Summer Game Fest trailer for the Among Us road map showed nothing from Map 5, except for a lone rectangular object – maybe buttons?
Other additions to quality of life
Cross-progression will be added between us with a system of accounts that will allow players to transfer their cosmetics and statistics to all platforms on which they play the game. In addition, this game will add success. And although no release date is available yet, Among Us is still ready for release on Xbox and PlayStation.
